While adhering to all environmental regulations in our business operations, we are actively pursuing environmental protection activities aimed at conserving energy and natural resources, and practicing the principles of the 3Rs: reduce, reuse, and recycle.
As part of the global Fujitsu General Limited (FGL) network, Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand is proactively working on the decarbonisation and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to help achieve the FGL goal of carbon neutral.
We have made the shift to using 100 per cent renewable energy and zero-emission products at all our locations, and we are in the process of switching our company fleet vehicles to hybrids where feasible. All initiatives are reviewed regularly and evaluated on their ongoing performance.
Fujitsu General Australia’s head office in Sydney’s western suburbs has achieved a 5 Star Green Star – Interiors v1.2 certified rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. In the 2022 rating period, we achieved a 6 Star National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) Water rating and a 6 Star NABERS Energy Whole Building rating.
Fujitsu General Australia and New Zealand is also expanding the R32 product offering, which is now available for most Fujitsu air conditioners under 16kW. With a 67 per cent lower ‘Global Warming Potential Factor’ compared to the commonly used R410A refrigerant, R32 offers equivalent air conditioner performance with reduced environmental impact.[1]
