THE WARRANTY


Thank you for choosing this quality Fujitsu General Heat Pump system. Fujitsu General New Zealand Ltd (FGNZ) warrants the equipment detailed against any defects in materials and factory workmanship for a period of six (6) years from the date of original installation, subject to installation by a current Fujitsu Customer. The offer of warranty applies only to the original installation location.

In case of service please call the company that installed the Fujitsu Heat Pump System.

This warranty form should be completed and submitted online, and a hard-copy should also be presented on request to the service person prior to commencement of any warranty work. The repair shall be performed during normal business hours. To validate this warranty please register online in addition to retaining a hard-copy version for your records.

WARRANTY SERVICE EXEMPTIONS


  • 1. Travelling costs for repairs in excess of one (1) hours drive, or< 50kms, from the service agent’s base.
  • 2. The cost of any crane or other means of resolving access issues required to service the product.
  • 3. Any consequential losses resulting from the failure or need for rectification of the product.
  • 4. In the case of commercial installation, defects or failure arising due to the lack of scheduled, contracted maintenance by a competent person.
  • 5. Vandalism, accident, vermin attack, or natural disasters.
  • 6. Defects or failures which are attributed to incorrect or improper installation. Your installer is responsible for these.
  • 7. Defects or failure due to environmental damage such as corrosion. It is the responsibility of the installer to provide protective coating if required.
  • 8. Defects or failure caused by blockage of the unit due to foreign material, such as dust or debris.
  • 9. Damage or failure caused by an accessory or component not supplied by Fujitsu General.
  • 10. Inadequate electrical supply, voltage fluctuations, incorrect wiring.
  • 11. Third party accessories, whether provided by Fujitsu General or not, are not covered by this warranty, refer to that Manufacturer’s Warranty Terms.
